Sales Associate – Luxury Watch Wholesale (Irvine, CA) About the Company Pacific Timepiece is a wholesale luxury watch business based in Irvine, California. We buy and sell high-end watches in the secondary market, working primarily with dealers, wholesalers, and trusted partners. We are a small, fast-moving team operating in a relationship-driven industry where speed, accuracy, and follow-through matter. Role Overview We are hiring an Inside Sales & Business Development Associate to help expand our customer and dealer network and create new buying and selling opportunities. This is an office-based sales role. You will work from our Irvine office, reaching customers and partners by phone, email, online channels and occasional visits. You will also respond to incoming inquiries and help move opportunities from the first conversation through completion. The role offers direct exposure to the secondary luxury watch market and the opportunity to learn alongside a small, experienced team. You will receive guidance on our inventory, pricing, customers, and sales process, but you should be comfortable taking initiative, following an agreed process, and communicating clearly about your activity and results. Responsibilities Develop new business through phone, email, online outreach, referrals, and consistent follow-up Respond to incoming sales inquiries and determine the appropriate next step Build relationships with buyers, dealers, collectors, and other industry contacts Share available inventory with accurate information about the watch, condition, pricing, and availability Identify opportunities to buy or sell watches based on customer needs and current inventory Maintain an organized pipeline and provide clear visibility into current conversations, follow-ups, and outcomes Use company spreadsheets and established processes to document sales activity and keep information current Coordinate closely with the team on pricing, inventory, customer communication, and deal status Manage several active conversations without losing important details or follow-up commitments Support the sales process through completion, including the coordination required to keep each transaction moving Required Qualifications Experience in selling luxury watches, jewelry, diamonds, luxury resale, or a related market Experience selling through online B2C channels, B2B relationships, or both Sales experience which includes proactive customer outreach, lead development, or online sales Experience building relationships through phone, email, digital channels, or direct follow-up Ability to work from the Irvine office five days per week Strong written and verbal communication Reliable follow-through and a willingness to provide clear visibility into daily sales activity Ability to stay organized while managing multiple customers, opportunities, and priorities Careful attention to product information, pricing, customer requests, and deal details Comfortable receiving direct feedback, learning a defined process, and adjusting your approach Motivated by measurable results and performance-based earning potential Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with secondary-market watches, online luxury sales, e-commerce, or appointment-based selling Knowledge of luxury watch brands and the factors that influence customer demand and market pricing Experience creating business without depending entirely on walk-in traffic Interest in developing deeper expertise in the luxury watch market Direct watch-industry experience is valuable, but we will also consider candidates from jewelry, diamonds, or closely related luxury categories who demonstrate strong sales judgment, consistent follow-through, and the ability to learn quickly.
