Weekend CaregiverSYNERGY HomeCare of Santa Clarita is looking to hire Caregivers for weekend shifts!Summary:Come join the Synergy HomeCare of Santa Clarita team! We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide non-medical support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation to appointments or errands.Duties:Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingSupport clients with mobility challenges and provide assistance with lifting when requiredOffer companionship, emotional support, and engage in meaningful interactionsEnsure a clean and safe living environment for clientsAssists in meeting nutritional needs by providing meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping as neededProvide clients medication remindersSupport clients on walks and/or light exercisesMonitor and promptly report any changes in clients' conditions or behaviorsSkills:Prior experience in caregiving, senior care, or related fields preferred (professional or personal)Experience working with individuals requiring specialized care (memory care, Parkinson's disease, cancer care, hospice, etc.) is a plusCompassion and empathy towards othersProficient verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently while following instructions accuratelyStrong organizational abilities with attention to detailCapacity to adapt calmly and effectively to changing situationsRequirements:Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration with the State of California (Or ability to obtain)Proof of LiveScan Fingerprint (or ability to obtain)Proof of current TB testing (Or ability to obtain)Clear a criminal background check (National and required by state & county)Clear E-VerifyProfessional and Personal Reference CheckMust be physically able to perform the functions of this positionBenefits:Competitive pay ($20+)Time-and-a-half pay for overtime and holidayFlexible schedulesOngoing training and supportEasy timekeeping and scheduling through our Mobile AppIf you would like to join our outstanding team at SYNERGY HomeCare, apply today!
