Job Summary

The successful candidate will primarily float between two Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, ensuring comprehensive care for patients with diverse medical needs. Additionally, this position involves managing Medical-Surgical patient overflow in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department (ED), requiring adaptability and a broad clinical skill set.

This is a contract position starting on August 17, 2026, ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse seeking a challenging and rewarding travel assignment in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients across designated units.
• Float between two Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to varying patient acuity levels.
• Manage and provide care for Medical-Surgical overflow patients within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department (ED) settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret telemetry readings, and recognize changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions.
• Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
