Role Description The Medical Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Alpharetta, GA. The Medical Assistant supports clinicians by preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, and documenting patient information accurately in medical records. Daily responsibilities include welcoming patients, verifying information, updating charts, and helping manage clinical workflow to ensure timely appointments. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized medical office environment, managing supplies, and following infection control and safety protocols. The Medical Assistant collaborates with providers and administrative staff to deliver efficient, respectful, and compassionate patient care. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting skills, including supporting examinations, procedures, and routine clinical tasks. Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately understand and document clinical information. Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office setting, including appointment flow, basic administrative processes, and professional communication. Candidates should possess Patient Care skills, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for visits, and providing clear, respectful instructions. Candidates should possess Medical Records skills, including accurate charting, documentation, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training is preferred; relevant certification ("e.g., CMA, RMA") is beneficial. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
