Available Shift:
Assisted Living: Thursday – Saturday 7am-8pm
Memory Care: Thursday – Saturday 7am-8pm

As a Medication Technician / Caregiver, you will:

• Assist residents with scheduled medications and treatments within designated timeframes
• Document, order, and enter medications into our medication management system
• Communicate with the nursing team regarding medication concerns, refusals, or changes
• Perform medication counts at the beginning and end of each shift
• Pack medications for resident appointments, outings, or leaves of absence
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including hygiene, dressing, laundry, and housekeeping
• Engage with residents in a respectful, patient, and professional manner while maintaining appropriate boundaries
• Support residents with appointments, outings, and daily routines
• Complete progress notes and other required documentation

This position combines Medication Technician responsibilities with caregiver duties to ensure residents receive the support they need throughout the day.

Requirements

• Must pass a Washington State Criminal Background Check
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Active HCA, CNA, or NAR (NAR must have a 2011 Exemption Letter, if applicable)
• Open availability, including at least one weekend day

• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Bloodborne Pathogens Training
• Dementia Specialty Training
• Mental Health Specialty Training
• Developmental Disabilities Specialty Training
• Washington State Food Worker Card

Preferred Qualifications

• Medication Assistant Certification
