Hotel General Manager

SUMMARY Our client is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead all operations of a full-service, upscale hotel featuring over 100+ guest suites, an onsite restaurant and bar, meeting space, and amenities serving both business and leisure travelers. This hands-on leader will drive financial performance, guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence while ensuring brand standards are consistently exceeded. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead all hotel departments and daily operations. Drive guest satisfaction and service excellence. Develop, coach, and retain department leaders. Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance. Improve occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and profitability. Partner with Sales and Revenue Management. Oversee food & beverage and banquet operations. Build local business and community partnerships. Ensure brand, safety, and quality standards. Analyze KPIs and implement operational improvements. Recruit, hire, train, and develop associates. Maintain a positive, accountable team culture. QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of General Manager or senior hotel leadership experience. Experience leading Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Sales. Strong financial, budgeting, and forecasting skills. Experience improving occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and guest satisfaction. Proven leadership, coaching, and team development abilities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with leading hotel software mgmt. tools and reporting systems. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field. Past experience in branded hotels. Restaurant, bar, and banquet leadership experience.
