Job Details Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12‑hour nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment and ensuring accurate imaging, preparing and caring for patients, and maintaining patient records. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients Interpret doctors' written instructions correctly Position patients appropriately for specific scans Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images Administer radiocontrast agents when necessary Evaluate CT scans for technical quality Follow safety procedures for radiation work Maintain accurate patient records Use the McKesson PACS system Requirements Minimum 1 year of CT experience BLS certification ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography Required state‑specific licensing (when applicable) Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Additional requirements may be necessary before beginning an assignment.
