Your Role as a Home Care Occupational Therapist (OT):

As an Occupational Therapist (OT) with VRNS, you’ll provide skilled occupational therapy services directly in patients’ homes. You’ll work closely with patients and their care teams to promote functional independence, safety, and quality of life. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs
• Training patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
• Assessing patients’ home environments and recommending appropriate safety modifications
• Providing education and training to patients and caregivers
• Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
• Collaborating with physicians and other members of the care team
• Completing accurate and timely electronic documentation

Requirements:

Need to Have:

• Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
• Afternoon availability

Nice to Have:

• Previous home care experience
• Monday–Friday availability
• Weekend availability
