Legacy Condominiums at Gulfport , a premier waterfront condominium community on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, is seeking an energetic, organized, and people-focused Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant homeowners association.
This is not a desk job where every day looks the same. One morning you may be working on the annual budget, by lunch coordinating a maintenance project, and by afternoon helping residents, meeting with contractors, or preparing for a Board meeting.

What You'll Be Doing
Community Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and staff of a large condominium association, ensuring efficient operations, excellent resident service, and effective management of Association resources.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, residents, vendors, and contractors.
- Along with the Maintenance Supervisor, coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections, and capital improvement projects.
- Help ensure compliance with Association governing documents and policies.
- Respond professionally and courteously to owner inquiries and concerns.
Financial Administration
- Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting.
- Process invoices and monitor expenditures.
- Work closely with the Board and accounting professionals.
- Maintain financial records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare reports and provide financial information for Board review.
Organization & Communication
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Coordinate Board meetings and maintain records.
- Prepare correspondence, notices, and community communications.
- Maintain electronic and paper records.
- Work with committees, vendors, and community volunteers.
Staff Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise, support, and coordinate the activities of Association employees.
- Foster a positive, professional, and service-oriented work environment.
- Assist with employee scheduling, workload prioritization, and performance management.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate Association priorities and expectations.
- Work with the Board regarding personnel matters, hiring recommendations, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
- Ensure staff compliance with Association policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service to residents and owners.
Vendor & Project Management
- Obtain bids and proposals.
- Along with the Maintenance Supervisor, coordinate contractor activities.
- Monitor project timelines and completion.
- Build positive relationships with service providers and business partners.

Helpful Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HOA, condominium, property management, hospitality, office management, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- QuickBooks experience is a plus.
- Experience with budgets, invoices, and account reconciliation.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and cloud-based software platforms.
- Experience working with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Meeting coordination and record-keeping experience.
- Ability to learn new software and technology quickly.
