Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite | 1–2 Call Shifts Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within an Operating Room setting
• Assist with and support vascular surgery procedures as a core component of the role
• Participate in on-call rotation, averaging 1–2 call shifts per week
• Maintain compliance with facility orientation requirements, including assessments completed during onboarding
• Complete required annual and pre-start training modules as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Operating Room experience required
• Vascular surgery experience required
• All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment within the past 12 months
• Must be able to pass facility-required assessments (ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety) within two attempts during orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18+ months of OR experience concentrated within a single facility
• Prior travel nursing experience in a perioperative or surgical specialty setting
