Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Be a part of a team that offers customers more of what they love, for less. What you’ll do Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicate effectively with team members, and remain flexible to business needs. Prepare food according to item specifications. Plan future productions and mass productions, prepare for seasonality, adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance and inventory management, operate and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution. Leverage digital tools. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Drive performance of the area. Utilize digital tools, manage high exposure and expectations, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control standards, eliminate waste, guide peers and provide attention to customer needs. Advocate for the department and the club. Value members’ experiences in the meat area, model high‑quality service and products, execute basics at the highest possible level, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, and collaborate with managers and colleagues. Key Responsibilities Ensure high‑quality products are available in the prepared foods area. Maintain clean shelves, temperature control, expiration dates, and dispose of lesser‑quality food products. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Maintain sales floor in accordance with company policies, handle claims and returns, zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, identify shrink and damages.
