Phlebotomist

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Kendallville, Indiana location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The position offers Monday-Friday hours with rotating Saturday shifts and opportunities for career growth within a diagnostic testing organization.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
