About the Position

Job Title: Electrophysiology Monitoring Technician Profession: EP Tech Specialty: AMD3TECH : AMD3LVL3T Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10.0 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: RCES or Radiologic Tech license or RN License (NY ONLY) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have: Cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience preferred but not required. Description: The main function of the Electrophysiology Monitor is to provide assistance to the Electrophysiologist during EP studies, ablative procedures, and cardiac implants. Experience with cardiac implants or structural heart scrubs is preferred but not required. Bloom stimulator experience is preferred but not required. The ability to implement EP pacing monoverses and understanding is required. Experience with GE (MacLab & CardioLab) systems is required for assisting in pacing monoverses and measurements. Documentation during procedures is primarily completed using a dedicated system. The monitor will assist in the set-up of various vendor equipment during procedures. Effective communication with medical staff is essential to ensure all equipment and supplies are available. The role includes facilitating room turnover and ensuring timely patient care. Coordination with nursing staff and third-party vendors is necessary to confirm availability of all team members for scheduled procedures.
