Summary

As a Registered Nurse on the supplemental staffing team, you will plan and implement nursing care aligned with established policies. You may be assigned charge nurse duties and will play a key role in assessing patient needs, organizing care plans, and ensuring a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify care requirements.
• Develop, organize, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening situations.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Monitor care quality using outcome-based indicators.
• Support patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the Southeastern region.
• No prior work experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective organizational and leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual patient needs.

Physical Requirements
