You will be working onsite in our state-of-the-art hospital facility located in Peekskill, New York. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and executing the rehabilitation plans developed by the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), ensuring personalized treatment approaches for every patient.
• Deliver hands-on manual therapy techniques and functional exercises to help patients regain strength and mobility.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, ensuring compliance with billing practices and state regulations.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering communication and sharing insights on patient progress.
• Commit to ongoing education and adherence to both state and federal regulations regarding patient care and documentation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a PTA will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions that require rehabilitation to regain functional mobility. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, from post-operative clients to individuals managing chronic pain, allowing you to apply a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's unique journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• NYS Licensure - Valid license issued by New York State for Physical Therapy Assistants is required.
• Graduate of an Accredited Curriculum - Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 60,000 based on experience, with the potential for productivity bonuses. Additionally, we offer comprehensive benefits including:
