Seasonal Company Name: Snowshoe Mountain, Inc. d/b/a Snowshoe Mountain Resort Room Attendant (6 Month) Dates of Temporary, Fulltime Employment: 10/30/2026 - 04/30/2027 Number of Openings: 70 Responsibilities Clean and maintain all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas including vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, disinfecting bathrooms, washing windows, moving and arranging furniture, turning mattresses, washing walls, sorting linen and other articles, loading washing machines with comforters, pillow shams, and mattress pads, ironing and folding dried items, shampooing carpets, cleaning rugs and carpets and upholstered furniture and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Qualifications Experience: 3 months of Room Attendant or Housekeeping experience at a high-end hotel, resort or private club. Education: None Training or Certification: None Special Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must pass post-hire criminal background check. On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train. Job Details Location: 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe, WV 26209 Hours Per Week: 35 Frequency of Pay: Bi-weekly Days and Shifts: 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. Flexible schedule with hours between 6:00AM and 2:00AM. Required to work weekends, holidays, morning, day and evening shifts. Wage Per Hour: $15.26 to $19.00 based on merit and experience. (Prevailing wage not yet set.) Wage Increase: Returning employees in the same position are eligible for merit based on their last seasons performance review scores; increase can be as low as 0% and up to 6% of their base wage. Overtime: Available at $22.89 to $28.50 per hour. Pay Period: A single work week, starting Saturday-Friday, will be used to calculate wages, and will be paid bi-weekly. Optional Employee Housing: Rent $300 - $600/month based on accommodations. Rent and housing deposit of $250 paid online. One-time nonrefundable $25 fee for linen provided, waived if staff bring own linens. Transportation: Daily transportation to the worksite provided via on-mountain shuttle service. Upon completion or early dismissal, employer pays or reimburses reasonable return transportation and subsistence. Daily Subsistence: $16.78 per day without receipts, up to $68 per day with receipts.
