Description:

iPower is seeking four full-time Financial Managers - one senior level and three journeyman - to support an upcoming government contract. This position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Salaries commensurate with responsibilities, experience, and education. Work will be performed onsite.

The financial manager will plan, direct, or coordinate accounting, investing, banking, insurance, securities, and other financial activities of a branch, office, or department.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide support for budget development, execution tracking and the generation and tracking of financial documents using various Navy and DoD electronic data systems such as N-ERP, SharePoint, CSPT, current work planning tools, and IDE
• Support the Program Manager and Resource Sponsor in the coordination, upgrades, and submits of the POM, PR, issue sheet development, budget drills, reclamas, as well as coordinate inputs and ensure that data provided is in an acceptable format
• Develop, consolidate, and organize databases of budgetary status information based on information provided through N-ERP and the PBIS
• Evaluate budget execution including tracking status of obligations and expenditures in detail by year, appropriation, and program for financial reconciliation for all funds; update/develop spreadsheets and financial status briefs and presentations
• Prepare financial charts and input for briefings in support of mid-year reviews, budget execution reviews, spend plan reviews and various other program briefings
• Track and monitor financial documents through the routing and approval process
• Participate in preliminary financial reviews and prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the IPT Lead and Program Manager

Required Qualifications:

• MA/MS degree for senior position (Allowable substitution: Bachelor's Degree plus an additional two (2) years of relevant work experience OR Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of relevant additional work experience)
• BA/BS degree or equivalent for other positions
• Minimum Secret Clearance
• 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Experience:

• At least 3 years' experience performing financial analysis in a Department of Defense weapons program office
• Experience executing funds in Navy ERP, providing execution analysis, and executing spend plans in accordance with financial benchmarks
• Working experience with CSPT and PMT tools
