Advocate Health Care - 45 Tower Court - Responsibilities: Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows all policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty when providing patient care.; Performs rooming/visit tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings (depression, suicide, falls, social drivers of health, etc.).; Assists provider with or performs procedures as ordered.; Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, specimen collection/labeling/packing, preparation of lab orders/requisitions, and results tracking.; Administers medications and vaccines safely following the rights of medication administration.
