Assembler

New Tech Global is currently seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Cedar Park, Texas. This position supports manufacturing and production operations in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to contribute to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Position Overview
• Assemble electro-mechanical and coil assemblies according to specifications and work instructions.
• Prepare materials for production, including cutting, cleaning, heat shrinking, and related assembly processes.
• Assist with spot welding, molding, adhesives application, and other manufacturing tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following 5S principles.
• Support quality control activities and ensure products meet established specifications.
• Complete and maintain production documentation, including work orders, process data, and test results.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and production standards.
• Cross-train in multiple production areas and assist with additional duties as assigned.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial production environments preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Experience working on assembly lines or production processes preferred.
• Basic math, inspection, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to distinguish colors and identify wiring and labeling specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
