Key Responsibilities:

The staff nurse is tasked with delivering nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within the organization's established policies and procedures, showcasing professional development and accountability. The staff nurse is also responsible for upholding practice standards and coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to ensure high-quality nursing care.

Minimum Education Required:
Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Minimum Experience Required:
A minimum of one year of telemetry experience, with the capability to interpret EKG strips.

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law:
A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a valid NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.

Additional Qualifications:
For PRN roles: Preference for candidates with at least one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Advanced certification in the relevant specialty area is advantageous (refer to addendum).
Prior nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
