The Central Sterilizing Technician is responsible for the proper care in disinfection/decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment used in the hospital. The person in this position is accountable to the Surgery Director. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Ability to perform routine repetitious tasks on a continuous basis and perform these tasks regardless of frequent interruptions.
