Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,834 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position in Morehead City, NC. This 13‑week assignment requires 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Specialty: PCU – Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment type: Travel Responsibilities Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients. Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report adverse reactions. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays. Initiate corrective action whenever monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology. Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds freely and up to 50 pounds when necessary. Must manage stress and communicate with patients and staff across diverse backgrounds. Qualifications 1–2 years recent acute care experience. ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications; 2 years RN experience. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
