Director / Head of M&A Underwriting

A highgrowth transactional risk insurer is building out its Italian M&A underwriting capability and is looking to appoint a senior lead for the market. The business can offer genuine commercial autonomy, a mandate to build, and meaningful equit participation linked to the long-term success of the wider Group.As Head of M&A Underwriting for Italy, you will lead underwriting across Italian M&A transactions, with a primary focus on W&I. You will originate and manage broker, private equity, corporate, legal and advisory relationships across the Italian deal community, positioning the business as a credible and active participant in the market.This is not simply an underwriting seat. You will own the Italian brand, build the book, shape the local strategy and have an immediate mandate to grow headcount around you.
