At our El Paso hub, our Customer Retention Specialists are our highest-value problem solvers. You will handle 100% inbound calls from existing Dish TV customers. There is no cold calling, but you will deal with back-to-back, high-emotion calls.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Core Responsibilities 

• Master the Save: Field 100% inbound calls from upset or frustrated Dish TV subscribers, de-escalating tough situations with patience, active listening, and calm authority.
• Diagnose & Reframe: Uncover the real reasons behind the customer’s desire to cancel, framing custom solutions that clearly demonstrate "what's in it for them" to stay.
• Multi-Product Cross-Selling: Protect the core Dish TV account while actively cross-selling our Wireless and Broadband products to build a higher-value, stickier bundle.
• Relentless Persistence: Push past initial pushback. You will not give up just because a customer turns down your first or second offer.
• Reset Between Calls: Shake off difficult interactions instantly to maintain peak empathy and focus across back-to-back inbound calls.

Skills, Experience and Requirements What You Bring

• Tenacity and Thick Skin: You do not take "no" as a final answer. You have the grit to present multiple tailored offers even when the customer starts out closed off.
• Active Listening & Persuasion: You can read between the lines during a high-stress conversation, pull out the customer's true pain point, and reframe our services to solve it.
• Strong Money Motivation: You are driven by the direct link between saving a customer and earning uncapped commission on top of your hourly base.
• Reliability & Foundation: You possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a willingness to work a full-time schedule with shift availability and handle back-to-back call volumes.
• No Experience Necessary: Call center or retention experience is a major asset, but not required . We teach you the exact de-escalation and negotiation frameworks you need during training. Training time is compensated at your regular hourly base pay rate.

• Guaranteed Base + Uncapped Commission: $15.75/hour base pay plus uncapped commission structures. On-Target Earnings (OTE) are estimated at $70,000+ , with elite retention pros clearing $100,000+ .
• Accelerated El Paso Growth Path: We value long-term loyalty and offer an explicit roadmap out of baseline roles. Within your first year, you could promote up two full title tiers based on performance, elevating your guaranteed base hourly rate while keeping the same call types:
• Level 1: $15.75/hr base pay
• Level 2 : $17.25/hr base pay
• Level 3 : $18.25/hr base pay
