About the Position

We are seeking a professional CDL B Flatbed Driver for a local delivery position with a well-established lumber company. This role involves transporting lumber and related materials within approximately a one-hour radius, with drivers returning home daily.

Pay & Schedule

Pay rate: $24 per hour
Overtime available after 40 hours
Schedule: Monday through Friday, first shift
Typical hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Hours per week: 40
Employment type: Long-term flex

Job Details

Route type: Local delivery
Service area: Typically within a one-hour radius of Cincinnati
Freight: Lumber, pallets, and crates
Equipment: Automatic flatbed straight trucks
Handling: Strapping and occasional tarping
Freight handling: No-touch freight
Home time: Return home daily

Key Responsibilities

Transport lumber and related materials to designated delivery locations
Ensure safe, timely, and accurate deliveries
Secure loads properly using straps and other equipment
Maintain a clean and professional appearance
Follow all applicable DOT regulations and company policies
Operate equipment safely and responsibly

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL B
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Six months of flatbed experience preferred; training may be available for the right candidate
