We are seeking a temporary Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Hammond, IN. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides primary care services to employees of a business and their dependents.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
- Recordsphysical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based onpatients' condition. Provides written home-going instructions.
- Collaborates with Physicians and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
- Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment.
- Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
- Maintains electronic medical records.
- Setting: Employer-based wellness center
- Job Type: Temporary
- Duration: Approx. 25 weeks
- Schedule: Monday Off, Tuesday & Wednesday, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM, Thursday & Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 38
- Pay Rate: $60-$65/hr
- At least 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in primary care or family medicine required
- DEA required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
