Histotechnologist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Histotechnologist to join our team in Shady Hills, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a histology laboratory setting and be proficient in performing a variety of histological techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination using various staining techniques
2. Embed tissue specimens in paraffin blocks for sectioning
3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
4. Perform quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and precision
5. Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Certification as a Histotechnician or Histotechnologist (HT or HTL) preferred
• Experience working in a histology laboratory setting
