The Site Superintendent for oil and gas oversees all on-site activities at a single project location, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills to manage contractors, enforce safety protocols, and maintain communication across teams.

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations to maintain progress and quality
• Manage and enforce safety protocols compliant with regulations
• Ensure quality assurance standards are met throughout the project
• Coordinate schedules with contractors and project stakeholders
• Liaise with contractors to resolve site issues and facilitate progress
• Generate timely reports detailing site status and concerns
• Provide leadership and direction to on-site teams
• Oversee equipment use and maintenance on site

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in oil and gas construction
• Associate degree in Construction Management or a related field
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification
• Knowledge of construction project management and blueprint reading
• Proven safety compliance and quality control expertise
• Strong team leadership and scheduling abilities
• Effective problem-solving skills
