Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN for a Stepdown Travel assignment in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in Utica, New York. This role requires experience in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing care for patients with complex diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, and trauma-related conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the use of specialty equipment and be comfortable in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide direct patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit
• Manage patients with complex diagnoses such as neuro, cardiac, and respiratory issues
• Utilize specialty equipment including temp pacers, chest tubes, and BiPAP machines
• Collaborate with Respiratory Therapists for chronic ventilator management
• Support post-operative care for cardiovascular stepdown patients
• Float as required to meet patient and unit needs

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Minimum of 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience
• Active New York RN license and NURSYS verification
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR systems
