Role: Testing Lead
- Lead end-to-end testing activities across enterprise transformation programs
- Define and drive overall test strategy aligned with program goals
- Manage SIT, UAT, Regression, and Parallel testing cycles
- Coordinate with business, functional, and technical teams
- Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting activities
- Ensure availability of test environments and data readiness
- Drive defect management and triage processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement validation
- Monitor testing progress and ensure timely delivery
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and processes
- Manage multi-vendor and global team coordination
- Support continuous improvement in testing practices
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts
- Define scope, dependencies, entry and exit criteria for test cycles
- Ensure test data availability and accuracy across environments
- Validate environment readiness before execution cycles
- Coordinate environment setup, refresh, and access management
- Lead execution of testing across multiple workstreams
- Track testing progress and resolve bottlenecks proactively
- Conduct defect triage sessions and manage defect lifecycle
- Analyze defect trends and identify root causes
- Provide regular status reports on testing progress and risks
- Collaborate with business users during UAT cycles
- Facilitate sign-offs and maintain audit-ready documentation
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience in software testing methodologies and frameworks
- Expertise in SIT, UAT, Regression, and Automation testing
- Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, or qTest
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications like SAP, Oracle, or Workday
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Knowledge of test data management and environment setup
- Understanding of defect management and tracking processes
- Ability to manage multiple testing cycles simultaneously
- Experience in Agile and hybrid delivery models
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
