POSITION TITLE: Food Service Employee (Cashier)

REPORTS TO: Food Service Director

LOCATION: Northport Public School Cafeteria

STARTING DATE: When filled

RATE OF PAY: $20.35 / hour

Salary and benefits are outlined in the Master Agreement Between Northport Education Support Personnel Association-Mea/Nea and Northport Board of Education:

SCHEDULE: Approximately 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM during the school year

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Personable and patient
• Assertive
• Self-directed
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment with regular interruptions

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Helps students, staff, and visitors at the point of sale for food service
• Food preparation
• Kitchen clean up
• Other duties agreed upon during hiring
