- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Evaluate patients' individual needs and design personalized therapeutic strategies that help them reach their functional objectives.
- Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply researched therapeutic techniques to enhance your patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily life functions.
- Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Guide Patients and Their Families: Provide essential education to patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques that promote their healing journey at home.
- Assess and Track Progress: Monitor patient development closely, documenting clinical outcomes and adapting treatment as necessary to keep progress steady.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Ongoing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- Required certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve their fullest potential.
- Strong communication skills that convey empathy and clarity when interacting with patients and coworkers.
