Fund Accountant

Associate Fund AccountantWe are currently hiring Fund Accountants for our Denver office. As a Fund Accountant, you'll help calculate the daily value of investment funds (known as Net Asset Value or NAV). You'll perform daily tasks to make sure the fund prices are accurate and delivered to clients on time. In this role, you'll work with other teams, analyze information received, resolve questions or issues promptly and ensure there are no discrepancies with the calculations.SS&C combines proprietary technology with deep industry expertise to support complex financial and health care operations. You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.How You Will Make an ImpactPrepares a variety of fund reports for clients including: cash forecasts, Net Assets Values (NAVs), yields, distributions, reconciliation, and other fund accounting output.Updates and reviews trading, general ledger activity and pricing of funds.Prepares and reconciles trial balances for assigned funds and prepares reconciliation of fund records to custodians and transfer agents.Reviews complex investments and/or funds which may include international, fixed income, or derivatives securitiesRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent experienceUnderstanding of mutual funds is a plusAbility to learn quickly and work in a team environmentHigh attention to detailMicrosoft Office skills, specifically in ExcelWilling to work on site a minimum of 6 days/monthSS&C Technologies offers a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your wellbeing, growth, and future. Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Colorado: The expected base salary for the position is between $19.23 USD/hour to $33.65 USD/hour.
