What You’ll Do Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for patients across the lifespan. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating medication management and therapeutic interventions. Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health history, risk assessments, and medication reviews. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with clinical guidelines and applicable regulations. Monitor patient progress, treatment response, and medication effectiveness; adjust treatment plans as needed. What You Bring Mission focused and passionate about improving access to quality mental healthcare. Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting. Willing and able to see patients ages 5 and up. Two years of PMHNP experience. Trauma informed and competent in the provision of integrated behavioral healthcare. Comfortable working independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues. Possess extensive knowledge of DSM-5-TR and utilize initial interview and screenings to provide diagnoses and care planning. Collaborates with patients and effectively communicates clinical impressions while assessing strengths, barriers, and psychosocial needs. Current valid license to practice in the State of Texas. Ability to interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety if a patient needs a higher level of care. Participate in after hours on call rotation 1-2 times a year. Possess computer/technology skills to efficiently document within an electronic health record and conduct tele-medicine visits, as well as communicating/meeting with colleagues virtually.
