Mission
Maximize uptime on high-speed manufacturing equipment and the facility systems that support them. You’ll apply advanced troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, and fluid-power domains—especially PLC logic, VFD configuration, and industrial hydraulics—to minimize downtime and keep production moving.
Core Responsibilities- Automation: Investigate and resolve PLC faults; refine ladder logic and I/O to restore performance quickly.
- Power & Drives: Install, tune, and service VFDs; maintain and repair 3-phase electrical systems up to 480V.
- Hydraulics/Pneumatics: Rebuild HPUs and cylinders; troubleshoot proportional valves and pneumatic circuits.
- Mechanical: Precision-align rotating equipment; replace bearings, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, and seals.
- Reliability & PM: Carry out PM schedules, document detailed work orders, and log equipment condition data for trend analysis.
- Safety: Rigorously follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out, OSHA guidelines, and all plant safety protocols.
- Records: Enter all maintenance activities and parts usage into the CMMS accurately.
- Background: 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- PLC Skills: Competent reading ladder logic and using software tools for diagnostics.
- VFD Skills: Comfortable parameterizing, installing, and troubleshooting AC/DC drives.
- Electrical Safety: Solid knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.
- Education: High school diploma required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Documentation: Ability to interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic flow diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
- Instrumentation & Tools: Proficient with digital multimeters, calibrators, hand tools, and diagnostic software for PLCs and drives.
- Strength: Lift up to 50 lbs routinely.
- Mobility: Climb ladders, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Support a 24/7 plant with flexibility for overtime, weekends, nights, and on-call.
