Dishwasher/Housekeeping

Work 3-4 days per week (24-28 hrs) in a food testing lab in Cypress performing facilities maintenance/cleaning and media prep. Full-time work may be available upon completion of probationary period. Cleaning responsibilities include: washing lab dishes and glassware, restocking supplies, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, detailed cleaning of surfaces and equipment, and other duties as required. Commercial dishwasher experience a plus. Media prep responsibilities include: media preparation, basic laboratory functions and associated documentation, operate and maintain basic laboratory equipment, maintain a clean and sanitary work area, clean laboratory glassware and vessels, follow all standard operating procedures and other duties as required. Must be able to lift 20-40lbs. Requirements Clean background check - no criminal convictions Strong organizational skills Requires English speaking skills Must be able to prepare cleaning solutions according to label instructions Reliable transportation to workplace Previous cleaning experience is preferred. Restaurant dishwashing experience is strongly preferred.
