CDL-A Flatbed Regional Truck Driver - $3,000 Sign on Bonus

As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods using a flatbed truck, or tractor and flatbed trailer. This role involves loading, securing, and unloading cargo, as well as adhering to transportation regulations and ensuring the integrity of the transported items. CDL drivers play a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain by delivering a variety of goods, including oversized or unconventional loads. Job Details As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods using a flatbed truck, or tractor and flatbed trailer. This role involves loading, securing, and unloading cargo, as well as adhering to transportation regulations and ensuring the integrity of the transported items. CDL drivers play a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain by delivering a variety of goods, including oversized or unconventional loads. Loads are picked up in Jonesburg, MO, but you could be based out of Columbia, St. Louis or any neighboring areas with secured parking Primary Responsibilities Safe operation of tractor/trailer Secure cargo using straps, chains and other securing devices to prevent shifting during transit Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and on time Compliance with all regulations Report any accidents, incidents, or safety violations promptly Maintain communication with supervisor, sales and customers as required Equipment maintenance, required pre and post trip inspections Maintain all daily records, HOS, DVIR, proof of deliveries and fuel receipts Physical & Work Requirements Physically able to secure your loads with chains Physically able to protect your load with tarps Some over-night (layovers) are expected Continuous communication with different departments and our transportation network Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, moderately stressful, constantly changing day-to-day work environment Required Background, Competencies & Expertise Valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements Valid Medical Card Excellent driving record Familiarity with relevant transportation regulations and safety standard Physical fitness and the ability to lift, carry and secure heavy and oversized loads Knowledge of securing different types of cargo, including oversized loads Strong communication and interpersonal skills Accountability Safety Integrity and trust Responsibility Preferred Background, Competencies & Expertise 2 yrs of driving experience 1 yr of flatbed experience Paid Weekly Top earners can make $90,000+ The minimum weekly pay is $1,480 for OTR drivers which requires you to check-in and check-out with your Supervisor daily for any additional work assignments before leaving.. This position could be out 5 nights a week but usually 1-2 nights per week Sign on bonus $3,000 paid 1/2 after 30 days and the other half after 60 days Referral Bonuses up to $825 per referral Benefits Home weekends Uniform shirts, boots, and personal protective equipment.
