For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare Medicare Advantage Part D bids submitted to CMS annuallyBuild AI-powered solutions that solve complex business challenges or improve efficiency in our modelsUse enterprise-approved AI tools to automate tasks and drive continuous improvementConduct data analysis and prepare reports for Medicare Advantage submissionsUnderstand and interpret the key drivers of health care trends; projecting expected revenue and costConduct and evaluate studies on pricing, utilization and health care costsPerform mathematical analyses and modeling to provide management with statistical findings and conclusionsAnalyze forecasts and trends to help leaders make decisionsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in analytics, demonstrating proactive critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities3+ years of experience building and optimizing data processes and pipelines using Python, SQL, and AI toolsExperience in the healthcare insurance industry with prior exposure to pharmacy claims dataAdvanced or higher level of proficiency in MS ExcelIntermediate or higher level of proficiency in coding with Snowflake, SQL, or SASAbility to effectively manage multiple prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:Medicare or other health data or pricing experienceExperience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake)ASA, FSA or other Actuarial experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for diverse audiences*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
