  Inventory Coordinator

Position Summary
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring products are available for customers, and supporting efficient store operations. This role oversees inventory accuracy, cycle counts, receiving, replenishment, and product organization while working closely with all departments to keep the sales floor and backroom organized and well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts and inventory audits. 
• Receive, verify, and process incoming merchandise. 
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. 
• Replenish merchandise to maintain in-stock conditions. 
• Manage damaged, defective, and return-to-vendor merchandise. 
• Monitor out-of-stock reports and partner with department leads to improve product availability. 
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient stockroom. 
• Support seasonal resets, merchandising projects, and annual inventory. 
• Operate inventory management systems accurately and consistently. 
• Work collaboratively with vendors and store leadership to improve inventory flow. 

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. 
• Comfortable using computers and inventory software. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders when needed. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
• Previous retail or inventory experience preferred.
