Refinery Boilermakers - Project-Based - La Porte, TX Stronghold Companies is seeking experienced Boilermakers for project-based work in a petrochemical and refinery environment in La Porte, Texas. These Boilermakers will assemble, install, and repair boilers, pressure vessels, and related equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidates are mechanically skilled, safety-focused, and able to work in physically demanding conditions, including confined spaces and at heights. Perks & Benefits Competitive wages Overtime opportunities may be available Exposure to large-scale refinery projects Potential for extensive travel and varied work environments Equal Employment Opportunity employer What You’ll Need High school diploma or equivalent work experience 4-5 years’ prior work experience in a related industry Knowledge of rigging equipment and crane/rigging hand signals Experience with hand tools, power tools, hydraulic torque tools, and their maintenance Ability to read and interpret prints and plans Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 51 pounds occasionally Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights Ability to pass required drug/alcohol testing and background requirements Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight for extended periods What Will Make You Stand Out 5+ years’ prior work experience in related industry TWIC card NCCER certification Basic Plus training Confined Space training OSHA 10/30 training First Aid and CPR training Class “A” driver’s license and a clean MVR #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Job Shop
