This is a high-impact role where your contributions help shape the future of AI-powered healthcare infrastructure. \n Accountabilities: Research, evaluate, and benchmark state-of-the-art LLM and multimodal models for domain-specific healthcare use cases. Design and build scalable data pipelines and ML workflows to support training, fine-tuning, and model customization. Fine-tune and adapt large language models for healthcare applications such as document understanding, search, Q&A, and conversational agents. Develop and productionize end-to-end AI/ML solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance in real-world systems. Contribute across the full ML lifecycle including data exploration, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across model behavior, backend integration, and deployment infrastructure. Ensure compliance with healthcare data security standards, including HIPAA, while maintaining documentation of research and system design decisions. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related quantitative discipline; PhD preferred. 4+ years of industry experience in applied AI/ML research, model development, or production systems. Strong understanding of deep learning, transformers, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and classical ML methods. Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and related ecosystems. Hands-on experience with LLM training and fine-tuning approaches, including modern techniques such as RLHF or post-training optimization. Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Hugging Face, DeepSpeed, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Databricks. Strong software engineering fundamentals, including OOP, design patterns, and efficient algorithm design. Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical concepts in a distributed team setting. Experience in healthcare or life sciences is a plus.
