Key Responsibilities Ensure maintenance meets Area and Company quality standards and all contract requirements. Implement customer and Company requirements for quality, performance reliability, and passenger safety for each project under supervision. Implement EEO/AA requirements consistent with Area, State and Federal regulations. Support sales staff in estimating service orders, scheduling and executing orders, and investigating and resolving customer complaints; may include a sales role. Manage ongoing program of project audit to ensure conformance of performance standards of quality, completeness and safety. Develop and implement a program of manpower selection, training and performance appraisal essential to productivity and quality improvement objectives. Implement route management strategy to uniformly apply preventive maintenance procedures while controlling manpower to a minimum level. Develop a spirit of teamwork and dedication to quality improvement among all employees. Evaluate and initiate requests for tooling to support productivity improvement. Maintain and manage proactive relationships with the local IUEC business agent. Advise Area management of competitor activity related to pricing, performance and manpower. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3 years of technical experience in the elevator industry or a related field. Working knowledge of elevators and escalators to manage and direct field personnel to meet Area goals. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven leadership skills with the ability to interpret customer concerns and mobilize internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction while minimizing cost and disruption. Ability to make sound judgments regarding motivation, training, and work assignments, adjusting manpower to a minimum level while exceeding customer requirements. Ability to teach hourly employees company methods of quality, productivity, and safety. Skill in communicating with and influencing business agents, inspectors, etc., to resolve disputes. Ability to demonstrate to customers that they receive fair value for their expenditures. Benefits Fully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible compensation.
