Convenience Store ManagerReports Directly to: Store Director, DMDirects: All Convenience Store AssociatesJob Objective: This is a mid-level management position at store level. The primary purpose of this job is to provide high quality automotive products to customers in a clean, friendly environment.Major Responsibilities:To provide outstanding customer serviceTo greet and thank every customer with whom you come into contactTo provide a clean, attractive and friendly atmosphere for our customersTo maintain a well-trained Convenience store staff as neededTo schedule and supervise Convenience Store AssociatesTo follow merchandising plans which will be based on product movement, customer demand and profitabilityTo order based upon sales to control inventory, minimize out-of-stocks, and to minimize shrink due to overstocks while attempting to maximize salesTo control shrink due to pricing errors, theft and product spoilageTo price and date product to ensure quality, price accuracy and rotationTo order supplies for department correctly to control expensesTo establish a cleaning program for all display cases, backroom areas, and coolersTo complete a weekly Purchase Report recording sales, purchases, credits and Gross ProfitTo attain sales, labor, and gross profit projectionsTo ensure compliance to all company safety, sanitation and security policiesTo ensure compliance to all governmental weights and measures laws and health department regulations.To comply will all company policies including following dress code and wearing name tagBasic Functions and Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about to various work stations. Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use. Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes.This is medium work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
