TOAST Temecula is seeking is seeking Hosts who are passionate and excited about providing an exceptional guest experience!

We pride ourselves on taking a fun and adventurous approach in the breakfast world by creating made-from-scratch dishes and offering local coffees & teas, craft beer and unique cocktails. We wanted to create a fun atmosphere that people can gather and enjoy themselves, sip on a coffee or cocktail and enjoy some good brunch all week long!

We believe genuine hospitality begins the moment a guest walks through our doors and continues until they leave. Our Hosts play a vital role in creating a welcoming, engaging, and memorable experience for every guest.

HOST RESPONSIBILITIES

• Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations
• Greets and Interacts with every guest as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience
• Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant
• Fills to-go orders, if applicable
• Take names on waiting list - Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Run the floor plan board
• Engage in a conversation with guests while walking them to their table 
• Bring water bowls, 4paws menus to guests with animals
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
• Cleans, organizes, stocks and counts menus at host area
• Maintains restrooms throughout shift
• Helps to sweep and clean all areas of the restaurant as needed
• Helps clear, clean and bus tables as needed
• Engage and motivate team members to work together to accomplish tasks
• Perform additional tasks to support overall success of restaurant

HOST REQUIREMENTS

• MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY
• Must be able to obtain Riverside Food Handlers Card
• Must be able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
• Must have outgoing and friendly personality
• Always keeping a positive and upbeat attitude
• Must love to SMILE!!
• Host or Customer Facing Experience Preferred, not required
• Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
• Must speak fluent English; Excellent verbal communication
• Works well and efficiently under pressure
• Flexibility and willing to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts
• Reliability and Punctuality is a must
• Takes pride in professional appearance

Activities include, but are not limited to, walking, or standing for 6 to 8 hours at a time, reaching, stooping, lifting or carrying 25 or more pounds, carrying, talking, sitting,  able to wipe down bar, tabletops, chairs, and booths; able to pick up debris from floor; able to push vacuum or mop.  

PAY

• Earn a base wage of $16.90/hour + tips, with the opportunity to average around $23.00/hour depending on your shift, volume, and performance.
