Job Overview:

Our nursing staff operates in collaborative settings alongside strong interdisciplinary teams, emphasizing a patient-centered care approach in a diverse work environment. Under the guidance and general oversight of the Nurse Manager, registered nurses apply evidence-based practices in line with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and directives from the medical team. Utilizing their knowledge and skills, registered nurses develop care plans that encompass the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care.
• Implement evidence-based practices in accordance with hospital policies.
• Develop comprehensive care plans addressing diverse patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Familiarity with the nursing process and customer service principles is essential. National certification in a specialty area is preferred. Experience in an acute care hospital setting is advantageous. IV skills and proficiency in a secondary language are also preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Must hold current BLS certification or complete it within the first three months of employment. ACLS certification is required for Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, and designated staff in ACU/PACU and Endoscopy. ACLS is highly recommended for cross-trained staff in these areas. NNR certification is required for Obstetrics.
• Education: Candidates must possess a current CT RN license and have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
