Pallet Sorter/Forklift Operator

Our client, a leader in sustainable supply chain solutions, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of a dynamic production environment supporting a diverse team. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, which will align well with the organization's values.

Job Title: 2nd Shift Pallet Sorter (occasional forklift use possible - will train)

Location: Gas City, IN

Pay Range: Competitive. Discussed at Phone interview

Shift: 3:30 pm - midnight, Sunday - Thursday (days working could change based on customer's demand)

What's the Job?

• Hand-sort pallets and RPCs accurately based on manufacturer, quality, and grade through visual inspection.
• Inspect and determine the level of repair needed for pallets following established criteria.
• Meet and sustain production and quality expectations.
• Perform sanitation and good housekeeping practices while maintaining a clean workspace.
• CANNOT have worked at Walmart Distribution in the last 5 years

What's Needed?

• Familiarity with using a pallet jack.
• Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. consistently throughout the duration of the shift.
• Safety toe boots or shoes are required.
• Willingness to operate a Forklift safely and efficiently (training and certification provided).
