Job Requirements

• 2 years of recent Operating Room or General Surgery experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS certification required
• Strong sterile technique and ability to support a variety of surgical cases
• Comfortable with on-call expectations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Flu vaccination required
• Must be available for a minimum of one travel assignment to be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Prepare patients, instruments, and surgical suites for a variety of procedures
• Support surgeons and the perioperative team during general and specialty cases
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow universal protocol and time-out procedures
• Assist with specimen handling, infection control, and sterile field maintenance
• Respond to call coverage as scheduled and help ensure smooth case flow
• Deliver compassionate care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
