Data EngineerMcCoy Group is looking for a Data Engineer to join our IT team!If you enjoy turning complex data into solutions that help a business make better decisions, this could be a great opportunity to make an impact.As a Data Engineer, you'll develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, data transformation processes, and enterprise data warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric. You'll work closely with business stakeholders and analysts to support reporting, dashboards, analytics, and AI-ready data.What You'll DoBuild and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelinesIntegrate data from databases, APIs, on-premises systems, and third-party platformsDevelop and optimize Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Data Warehouse environmentsSupport Power BI reporting, analytics, and AI initiativesEnsure data is secure, reliable, accurate, and properly governedTroubleshoot production issues and optimize pipeline performanceFollow best practices for coding, documentation, version control, and deploymentWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of Data Engineering experienceHands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud-based platformsStrong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data warehousingExperience with SQL, Python and/or Spark, Power BI, APIs, Git/DevOps, and data integrationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work with confidential informationAbility to travel when neededTruck Country® / Stoops Freightliner-Western Star is one of the largest Freightliner and Western Star dealership groups in the United States, serving customers across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
