Quality Assurance LAB Technician

SUMMARY: Collect and analyze incoming bulk ingredients, save samples as required. Analyze process from concentrate through filtration using refractometer, spectrophotometer, turbidimeter, titrator, colorimeter and vitamin C titrator using specifications to ensure raw product integrity. Monitor finished product quality using before mentioned instruments. Maintain accurate, detailed and complete documentation to ensure finished product integrity. Collect and Analyze Incoming Bulk Ingredients Collect and Analyze Juice Samples Prior to Filtration Ensure Quality of product prior & after Concentration Collect, Analyze and Monitor Batching of Tanks Provide Accurate Analytical Results and Blending Assistance Collect, Analyze and Monitor Finished Product Incoming Tanker Inspection, Unloading and Outgoing Support 10% Finished Product Hold Reduction & 5% Consumer Complaint Reduction Communicate with Key Personnel Maintain Paperwork Collect Required Samples Maintain Work Environment Knowledge of Lab Equipment: Be Aware of Safety Hazards Train Co-Workers Ensure Compliance to Food Safety and Plant Security PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of these that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Salary Range: $20.96 - 26.55/HR This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this position's grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors, such as experience and, if applicable, location. Salary increases are determined by promotional opportunities. Tree Top provides a weekly payroll. This position is eligible for annual safety incentive.
