Senior Finance Associate

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days per week

A private equity firm is seeking a Finance Associate or Senior Finance Associate to join its fund finance team in Chicago.

What You’ll Do

• Support quarterly close and fund financial reporting
• Prepare waterfall, allocation, capital call and distribution calculations
• Maintain journal entries and general ledgers for fund and GP entities
• Support subscription line and credit facility administration
• Coordinate tax allocations, K-1 review and tax return processes
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit
• Respond to investor requests and support regulatory reporting
• Assist with special projects across the finance function

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6 years of public and/or private accounting experience
• Private equity or alternative investment fund experience preferred
• Strong understanding of partnership accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proactive, self-directed working style with strong communication skills
